1. What this site is
The Nook Art publishes guides and reviews about making a corner of a home comfortable — reading light, candles, throws, wall art — and makes hand-drawn colouring books. Reading anything here is free and requires no account.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. We do not sell to you from this site
There is no checkout here. Every product link goes to Amazon or Etsy, and any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, governed by their terms, their prices, their shipping and their returns policy — not ours.
That means we cannot process a refund, cancel an order, or change a delivery address. If something is wrong with an order, the retailer you bought from is the only party who can fix it. We will happily help you work out who to contact.
3. Affiliate links and how we are paid
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, and some other outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same either way.
A commission never buys a recommendation. We say when a product disappointed us, and we leave products out entirely when we would not use them. Where an article is about something we were sent for free or bought ourselves, it says so.
4. Our content
The articles, photographs, illustrations and colouring artwork on this site belong to The Nook Art unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish an article in full, resell our colouring pages, or use our artwork in your own products.
Colouring books you buy are for personal use. Colour them, frame them, give the finished pages away — but please do not scan and redistribute the line art.
5. Anything you send us
If you send a finished page for the gallery, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to show it on this site and on our social accounts, with credit if you ask for it. We will not sell it or licence it to anyone else, and we will take it down if you change your mind — just write to us.
Please only send work that is yours, coloured from a page you legitimately own.
6. The mobile app
The Nook Art app is optional and has its own account. You can delete that account and its data at any time; the steps and the retention period are set out on the account deletion page.
7. Advice, not instructions
Everything here is one household’s experience, offered as a starting point. Colouring is not a treatment for a medical condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for candles, lamps and anything else that plugs in or burns — a review is not a safety manual.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Prices and stock shown on retailer sites change constantly and we cannot guarantee anything quoted in an article is still current.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
